The Region Music: Condo View #CyphLyfeReview

It’s a season of celebration over here at WVCC Radio. After 10 years of navigating relationship ups and downs, raising 6 kids and surviving a year long seperation where we mourned the loss of very dear family & friends, My life mate and I finally tied the knott this past weekend in front of God and a congregation of our Family and closest Friends. Choosing to spend our limited budget on a Honey Moon getaway for ourselves rather than a wedding reception for everyone else to enjoy, the dancing and celebrating was put on pause til we arrived at the hotel room. Once we landed however, we pressed play on this sexy House Music masterpiece right here. The lastest release from THE REGION MUSIC Production team of TIG & D9, the House Music infused, CONDO VIEW. A project I have had the pleasure of marinating on all March hit a lot different as my wife and I let the champain flow and danced the night away in honor of our matrimony.

Clocking in at just over 20 min, CONDO VIEW is THE REGION MUSIC’s 1st venture into the House Music Genre.  Already having produced and released multiple Hip Hop Albums, including the Hip Hop/Dub Step Blend project S.O.L.A. and a Classic R & B album named BLUE LILY Series 1, Lead Producers TIG & D9 had hinted in 2024 that their next sonic venture would be in the realm of dance music. They have delivered with CONDO VIEW.  A deep, “Dark House” long play mix that can have anyone in the mood to dance either on their feet or laying down horizontally. The sensuallity in each of the 7/8 tracks of the project is undeniable and intoxicating.  You don’t need to pop a molly to feel the electricity running through your body as the Bass and Synths consumate in magical arrangements within your ears. The tempo always steady and danceable, the sound samples TIG drops in and out of the music taking you on journeys of the imagination. Take for instance the vocal singing sample of Opening tracks chorus, which made my wife and I believe we were celebrating somewhere in Haiti, or the hooting owls and shaking maracas of “I JUST WANT TO HAVE SOME FUN” which made it feel like we were dancing barefoot out in some torch lit forrest.  I seriously wish I had a track list to be able to refer to these songs by their actual name, but the lack of information actually adds a little to the mistique of the Mix. Like dancing skin to skin with a sexy stranger, only to loose them in the crowd before you get the chance to learn their name.  Song number 4 on the mix, a Caribian joint filled with guido, salt shakers and an autotuned effected voice singing incoherently gives just that type of vibe, before breaking into the piano driven song #5, with its Hand Clapping and Spoon Slapping percussions that go through an amazing tempo change halfway through the song changing the whole groove of the dance, making us bring it closer til we are breathing heavily on eachothers necks. Sweat dripping off of one another.  Wether you are dancing in an Multi Colored LED lit room with a partner, running on the treadmil at the gym or just cleaning the house on a Saturday while playing CONDO VIEW, the rhythms D9 & TIG have cooked up on this one are sure to keep your heart rate up and your legs and arms swinging. Chicago, the home of House Music, would play this project with pride. This is the real deal.

The production team of TYLER SMITH aka TIG and D9 aka DEQUAN HENDERSON have successfully fulfilled their mission of producing a party moving House Album. In doing so they have continued to extend their catalogue and soundscape, creating everything from EDM, Electro, to Hip Hop, Club Rap, to Soulful R&B. They have recently released the latest album from CoProducer and Front Man D9 titled IX, which the CyphLyfe Blog will also be covering with a write up and Interview with D9 very soon. Produced and released under THE REGION MUSIC Family Flag, IX is just another example of how diverse and versitile this production team is with its sound supply. If you are a fan of indipendant music of multiple genre’s and rock with artists who refuse to be kept in a box, then you def have to follow THE REGION MUSIC, since they have proven time and time again that there is no genre they cannot be succesful in. Whats next??? A Country Album?  I wouldn’t put it past them. TIG & D9 are fearless Producers who seems to make Musical Gold out of everything they set their ears and hands to.  They haven’t missed yet.
